ZZPass AutoFill seamlessly fills your passwords in Safari and apps on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. This guide covers everything you need to know about setting up, using, and troubleshooting AutoFill.
AutoFill automatically fills in your login credentials for websites and applications without you having to type them manually. When you visit a login page, ZZPass recognizes the website and offers to fill your saved username and password with a single tap or click.
No more typing usernames and passwords. AutoFill enters your credentials instantly with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device password.
Eliminate typos and forgotten passwords. AutoFill enters credentials accurately every time, ensuring reliable logins.
Use unique, strong passwords for every account without the burden of remembering them. AutoFill makes strong passwords practical.
AutoFill only works on legitimate websites. If you're on a fake phishing site, ZZPass won't suggest credentials - warning you of danger.
ZZPass intelligently matches credentials to websites and apps, suggesting the right login for each site automatically.
Every AutoFill requires Face ID, Touch ID, or your device password - ensuring only you can access your passwords.

Face ID/Touch ID Issues:

If you have multiple accounts for the same website:
• Tap/click the key icon to see all accounts
• Use descriptive usernames or add notes
• Consider using different account names (e.g., "work", "personal")
For websites with subdomains (login.example.com vs app.example.com):
• Save credentials with the main domain
• ZZPass will suggest them on subdomains
• Or create separate entries for each subdomain
Biometric Authentication:
Face ID/Touch ID is processed locally on your device. Your biometric data never leaves your device and isn't sent to ZZPass or Apple.
AutoFill Data:
AutoFill suggestions are generated locally on your device using your encrypted password vault.
Domain Matching: ZZPass AutoFill only suggests passwords for websites that exactly match the saved domain. If you visit a phishing site like "app1e.com" (with a number 1 instead of letter L), ZZPass won't suggest your Apple credentials.
Visual Warning: If no credentials are suggested on a familiar-looking login page, it may be a phishing attempt. This is AutoFill protecting you by refusing to fill credentials on a suspicious domain.
HTTPS Verification: AutoFill works best on secure HTTPS websites. If a site is using HTTP (not secure), be cautious about entering credentials.
